MacKenna began painting at a young age and loved challenging herself to explore new mediums - acrylic, oils, watercolor, etc. In fear of being a starving artist her whole life, she found herself in the Interior Design world after deciding to pursue it as her undergrad degree at Ohio State University.

While still actively working as a contract interior designer, she found herself falling in love with the wedding world after going through her own engagement. She decided to challenge herself to her first wedding suite with her sister-in-law and instantly knew this was something she wanted to pursue.

MacKenna’s background gives her a unique perspective on each wedding suite she creates, and her attention to detail is second to none.
